"Irrbloss" was created in 2007, but each of us has had a contact with fire for several years. Thanks to multiannual experience our shows are well organized and prepared. It results in professionalism of the “backup” : the viewer’s safety is one of the most important issues for us.
First of all, we perform dance shows with fire and sparks as well as with light (led and UV). We do not call ourselves only ‘the flame/light wavers or twisters’ because we include in our choreography many components originated from, inter alia, various types of belly dances and African dances. We also do not name our group ‘a theatre of fire’, because the visual effects of performances are the most important to us. Our performances are the revolving stream of changing and moving pictures. In spite of the fact that there are just a few members of the group, we lay special emphasis on the multi-personal choreography as well as on the frequent changes of dancers and equipment. We create our show as a one unit, which makes it something more than just an appearance of incidental soloists.
Futhermore, we do firewalking (anastenaria) – barefoot walks through glowing embers. We also organize fireshow workshops. More information about these options is provided in “Offer” section. We are looking forward to every offer of collaboration related to fire.
